Historic restoration underway
A PANMURE duo has fulfilled their long-awaited dream of securing a 117-year-old German howitzer cannon, scarred with bullet holes from the allied forces, to be refurbished to its former glory.

Back from the brink: Panmure’s Ian Wallace and Brian Cockayne have secured a long-forgotten piece of history. The duo has obtained a damaged World War One German howitzer cannon, which the South Western District Restoration Group Inc will spend the next few years restoring.
