Hockey fun at Mockridge
THE final hockey meeting at Mockridge Park for the season turned out to be a showcase of skills learned and improvements gained.
THE final hockey meeting at Mockridge Park for the season turned out to be a showcase of skills learned and improvements gained.
Congratulations to all players and a huge thanks to all who helped make it happen.
After the round-robin, coaches handed out awards to those who had shone within each team and who had been a great team player.
Awards were presented to the following players:
White team - Anastasia Brasher-Powell; green - William Smith; purple - Oliver Eagle and blue - Amber Wallis.
The umpire awards were selected from nominations throughout the season and went to:
Blue - Noah Boyd and Reuben van den Berghe; green - Maisie Cunningham and Henry Wilkinson; white - Jacob van Bemmel and purple - Mateo Boyd.
The Hooked into Hockey players each received a medal for participation.
