Hockey season ends for mods

CORANGAMITE Hockey’s modified competition and Hookin2Hockey concluded earlier this month.

Some short games were enjoyed on the last day, followed by the group’s annual meeting and award presentations.

Many thanks to players, sponsors, parents/carers, umpires and committee members for ensuring another great season of hockey.

There are several talented young players coming through the club.

Congratulations to the recipients of the team minders awards for 2025 – Oliver Eagle (yellow), Anastasia Powell-Brasher (dark blue), Aaron Marshall (light blue) and Landon Roberts (green).

All players should be proud of their efforts this season.

The skill development, team work and confidence of every player has grown so much over the last 10 weeks of hockey.

Thankyou to the team minders for their commitment and passion for their teams.

Thankyou also to the umpires who have assisted each week – particularly to under 18 player, Lachie Baulch, who has umpired all but one game this season.

Lachie chose two players he felt had increased in confidence, skills and team-work over the mod com season as recipients of the umpires awards.

These were presented to Adele Currell and Mason Lucas.
