Hole-in-one for Alex
ALEX Kenna has scored a hole-in-one on the par three, 11th hole at the Terang golf course.

Kenna was competing in last Friday’s twilight competition when he hit the memorable shot, scoring a one for six points on his stableford scorecard.
Last Saturday was round two of the Peter Kenna Trophy, attracting a field of 33 players.
A grade was won by Fred Beasley (+3) -1 on countback from Tyler Beasley (7) -1.
B grade went to Damien Glennen (17) +5 from runner-up Mitch Wyss (42) +3.
Down the line: Ged Justin (22) +2, Brad Lucas (25) square, Chris Coolahan (18) -1 and Geoff Campbell (30) -2.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Cam Williams, 6th Riley Scanlon, 8th Stephen Grinter and 11th Riley Scanlon.
The winner of Friday’s twilight golf was Alex Kenna on 21 points from Caleb Kavanagh on 20.
This Friday will be twilight, nine-hole golf from 2.30pm onwards (composite course, holes 1, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18, 10, 11 and 7).
Saturday will be stableford and Sunday 18-hole stableford from 10.30am.
In the women’s competition this week, players competed in the Medal of Medallists.
The winner was Jane Heffernan with a score of 104-31-73 on a countback from Lynette Coxon on 111-38-73.
Balls down the line went to Margie Driscoll 97-20-77, Elaine Hrabar nett 78 on a countback from Aileen Clark and Jo Arundell.
Nearest the pins: 3rd and 9th Judy Carmody and 9th from off the green, Aileen Clarke.
Twenty-one players competed in the 18-hole all day competition.
The winner was Brad Lucas with 36 points, followed by Sharee Scanlon 35 on countback from Anthony Kavanagh.
Balls down the line went to Anthony Kavanagh 35 points, Max Kavanagh 34, Josh Brown 34 and Mick Scanlon 33.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Max Kavanagh, 6th Phil Beasley, 8th Fred Beasley and 11th Ian Brown.
Next week will be an 18-hole and nine-hole all day stableford competition.
The women’s 18 hole and nine hole competitions will be at 9.30am-10.30am.
