Hollick and Cashmore in countback
TWENTY-five golfers competed in a stableford round at the Timboon course las weekend.
Saturday’s A grade winner was Wes Hollick on a countback from Peter Cashmore, with both players on 41 points.
Kevin Plozza was third with 40 points.
B grade winner was Norm Hardingham with 41 points from Terry O’Connor with 40 points and Bryan Ward with 39.
Nelle Cashmore tabled the best ladies’ score with 36 points from Judy Delaney and Donna Weller with 34.
Nearest the pins: 5th Judy Delaney, 7th Kevin Plozza, 10th Donna Weller and 14th Chris Huffadine.
Kevin Plozza won the Nutrien ball for his second shot to the 11th and Terry O’Connor won the South West Car Care Ball for his second shot to the 13th.
On Thursday the 12 holes Kazza’s Railway View Chicken Day was won by Peter Plozza from Bandu and nearest the pin was David Gamble.
Next week will be the Timboon Golf Club MogasRegional Annual Tournament.
This Saturday, March 9 is stroke, Sunday will be two-person 4BBB Stableford (10.30am shotgun Start and Monday March 11 will be a four-person ambrose (10.30am shotgun start).
