Huffadine and Smith lead at Timboon

THE first round of the Nutrien Harcourts 4BBB stableford competition has been played at Timboon Golf Club.

After the first round, Chris Huffadine and Darren Smith currently sit at the top of the leaderboard.

The pair finished on 42 points, closely followed by Jack Rowe and Rhys Ziegelaar on 41, with Debbie and Jamie Norton third on 39.

Nearest the pins: 5th Darren Smith, 7th Jack Rowe, 10th Jamie Norton, 13th (second shot) Francis Togni, 14th Ivan Barlow.

Thursday’s 12-hole Railway View chicken day was won by Gordon Broderick from Steve Plozza.

This Saturday will be round two.
