Ideal conditions for cross-country
SIX athletes from the Camperdown Little Athletics Centre competed in the Western Country Regional Cross Country competition last weekend.
The event, held at Lake Bolac last Sunday, attracted some strong competitors from across the district.
With perfect weather conditions, the day saw some great results.
In the two kilometre race for 11-12 year olds, Elise Nicholls finished second, Millie Bourke fourth and Zoe Unwin, also fourth.
In the three kilometre race for 13-17 year olds, Charlie Unwin and Philippa Kempton finished first in their events.
The 1.5km race for 9-10 year olds saw Callum Nicholls finish 14th.
