Ideal conditions for Terang golfers
GOOD weather and a course in fantastic condition resulted in some good scores recorded at the Terang golf course last week.
The stableford competition attracted 16 players to the morning competition.
The A grade competition was won by Billy Wood with 39 points, followed by Margie Driscoll on 34 on a countback from Jo Arundell.
B grade was won by Elaine Hrabar with the excellent score of 41 points, with Karen Mather the runner-up on 39.
Balls down the line went to Lynette Coxon 38, Maureen Bond 35 and Jo Arundell 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Judy Carmody, 11th Billy Wood and 18th from off the green, Karen Mather.
The winner of the nine hole competition was Linda Kenna with 12 points.
The afternoon competition was won by Phil Beasley with 35 points.
