Inaugural music festival tomorrow

MUSIC lovers across the south west are invited to the inaugural Corangamite Music Festival at Camperdown’s Theatre Royal tomorrow (Saturday, November 1).

Corangamite Shire mayor councillor Kate Makin encouraged people of all ages to get their friends together and come along to the free event, which will run from 10am-8pm.

“We have 13 amazing Corangamite acts – eight soloists, one duo and four bands,” she said.

“From classic rock and country music to punk and show tunes there will be something for all tastes.

“The Camperdown Lions will fire up the barbecue to feed the crowd and keep everyone’s energy up, and there will also be a coffee van on site.”
