Curry Bliss is Camperdown’s first Indian restaurant, with experienced chef Vishnu Panthi saying he has been pleased with the warm reception from the town.

“The community is so good,” he said.

“People like the food, and they are supporting me.

“My workers and staff are so good as well.

“I thought about how there was no Indian restaurant in Camperdown, and I make dishes such as butter chicken and lamb rogan josh.

“I hope everyone likes my food – my food quality is high as I have been working as a chef for the last 15 years.”

Curry Bliss opened at the end of last month and features a variety of Indian cuisine for the community.

“It’s a unique and good idea, and I’m so happy and glad,” Mr Panthi said.

The restaurant is located where Pat’s Chinese Restaurant was previously, which had sat vacant for over a year before being transformed.
