This year the write-up will be done on Fridays before the weekend, instead of the Monday after, which means all weekend events will be delayed slightly but covered the following week.

In division one last weekend, Camperdown 1 hosted Glenormiston 1.

Scores were locked at six-all after 10 ends before Camperdown 1 picked up a fiver on the next and a double on the following to win 18-12.

Newcomers to division one Mepunga 1 was host to Laang-Ecklin.

The home side shot out of the blocks early with four shots to the visitors’ single in the first three ends of the match, but Laang-Ecklin returned fire, taking a six shot lead by end seven.

By end 15, scores were 14-all before Mepunga picked up a double to break the deadlock and then went on to win 17-15.

The battle of Timboon Lawns 2 v 1 saw Timboon Lawn 1 victorious, 22-17.

Scotts Creek travelled to take on Camperdown 1 and got off to a flying start, leading 10-3 after seven ends, however it was the home side that prevailed, 20-12.

In division two, the newcomers Glenormiston 3 hosted Timboon Lawn 3.

After a tight tussle, ends nine to 14 were all Timboon Lawn 3 before the home side mounted a defence and took the win, 18-17.

Cobden 2 defeated Glenormiston 2, 19-18, Mepunga 2 defeated Simpson 1, 28-14 and Timboon Lawn 4 defeated Cobden 1, 23-15.

In division three, Scotts Creek 2 had the bye this week.

Peterborough played host to newcomer Mepunga 3 and the visitors got off to a great start and didn’t look back, winning the match 25-11.

Glenormiston 4 hosted Cobden 3 and, by end 11, the scores were locked at nine-all before Glenormiston 4 took the win, 21-13.

Scotts Creek 3 travelled to take on Camperdown 3 and went home with the win, 23-17.
