Indoor bowls heats up
THERE was plenty of indoor bowls action for the Heytesbury Association this past week.
Division one saw Timboon lawn 1 draw with Scotts Creek 1, Timboon Lawn 2 took care of Laang-Ecklin, Mepunga 1 narrowly went down to Glenmoriston 1 and Camperdown 1 just scraped home against Camperdown 2.
The top four this week in division one are: Timboon Lawn 1, Timboon Lawn 2, Mepunga 1 and Laang-Ecklin.
There are six points separating fourth to last and percentage separating fifth to seventh.
Division two saw Simpson 1 defeat Cobden 1, Mepunga 2 took care of Glenormiston 2, Cobden 2 narrowly defeated Timboon lawn 3 and Glenormiston 3 just went down to Timboon Lawn 4.
The top four for division two this week are: Mepunga 2, Cobden 1, Timboon Lawn 4 and Glenormiston 2.
Fifth placed Cobden 2 is a win out of the four, with the rest being two wins out of the four.
In division 3, Scotts Creek 3 had the bye this week and Camperdown 3 took care of Cobden 3, Glenormiston 4 went down to Mepunga 3 and Peterborough took care of Scotts Creek 2.
The top four in division 3 are: Scotts Creek 3, Mepunga 3, Camperdown 3 and relative newcomer Peterborough.
Just a few reminders regarding pennant:
Score cards are required to be sent in immediately after than match and no later than Thursday after the match.
Please help your pennant secretary by sending clear, legible pictures of completed, matching, full player names and signed pennant scorecards to pennant secretary Kathryn on 0409 013 720.

Please note a few date changes:
The VIBBA Champion of Champions Day is now on Sunday, July 28.
The Victorian State Team Open Fours Practice Day is now on Sunday, August 11.
As a consequence, the following event has been changed - HIBBA Champion of Champions at Simpson Hall is now on Friday, July 12.
Entries are now open for the South West Challenge against Warrnambool.
Please send entries to your club secretary no later than Monday, July 8.
