The next five ends were all Cobden 1, reducing the deficit to two on end 13.

Mepunga 1 was home to Timboon Lawn 2 and the visitors started off well but by end six, scores were locked up at four all.

Singles either way progressed the match and even after Timboon Lawn 1 picked up a five, scores were again level on end 12 at 10-all.
