Join the Curdies River committee

CORANGAMITE Catchment Management Authority (CMA), on behalf of the Curdies River coordinating committee, is inviting expressions of interest (EOIs) from community members to join the committee as community representatives.

The committee is seeking community representatives who can bring diverse perspectives, strong connections and a broad understanding of the Curdies River catchment.

EOIs will be considered based on familiarity with the Curdies River catchment with preference for residents within the area, breadth of community connections, networks and participation, commitment to diversity and inclusion and a balanced range of skills, knowledge or community involvement related to the Curdies River.

“The Curdies River is a vital environmental, cultural and community asset, and the committee plays a key role in ensuring its long-term health,” Corangamite CMA general manager community and catchment services and and Curdies River coordinating committee chair Sarah Holland-Clift said.

“We’re looking for passionate community members who can bring their knowledge, experience and local insights to help guide this important work.”

Community members interested in contributing to the future health of the Curdies River are encouraged to submit an expression of interest via https://ccma.vic.gov.au/expressions-of-interest-for-curdies-river-coordinating-committee-community-representatives.

Submissions close March 20, 2026.
