Jubb wins monthly medal
IAN Jubb had a strong round of golf to take out the monthly medal at the Mortlake club last weekend.
Last Saturday attracted a strong field for the stroke monthly medal and medal of medalists.
Ian Jubb finished on 27-92-65 to win on countback from runner-up Steve Hubbard 19-84-65.
The Medal of Medalists was Craig Fowler 12-81-69 from Hamish Weatherly 4-75-71.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Ian Jubb, 6/15 Les Dawson, 9/18 Bruce Twaddle.
Balls down the line went to Craig Fowler, Rob Field, Peter Palmer, Hamish Weatherly, Tony McLennan, Scott Richie and Les Dawson.
NAGA was Wes Wareham while Steve Hubbard took home the raffle.
Last Friday was a nine-hole twilight which was won by Kevin Etherton 6-37-31 from Glen Byers 12-44-32 on countback from Steve Hubbard 11-43-32.
Nearest the pin on the 9th was Kevin Etherton.
Next week’s event is stableford.
