Judy Delaney wins at Timboon
JUDY Delaney has finished on 42 points to take out the ladies’ stableford at Timboon Golf Course last Wednesday.
Runner-up for the event was Biddy Weel on 40 points.
Balls down the line went to Steph Delaney 39, Susanne Wallae 38 and Linda McKenzie 37.
Nearest the pin: 10th (second shot) Donna Weller and first shot, Karon McKenzie.
Steph Delaney took out the Nutrien ball.
Twenty-one players enjoyed the day.
Last Saturday members played a Stableford round.
A Grade winner was Jack Rowe with 44 points from Mick Plozza with 40 points and Wes Hollick with 38 points.
B Grade winner was Adrian Jilich with 40 points from Percy Gillin and Franny Togni both with 38 points.
Ladies winner was Nelle Cashmore with 34 points from Judy Walsh with 33 points and Donna Weller with 31 points.
Nutrien Harcourts Nearest Pins were – 5th Darren Smith, 7th Wes Hollick, 10th George Watters and 14thWes Hollick. Ivan Barlow won a ball for his second shot to the 13th.
On Thursday the 12 holes Kazza’s Railway View Chicken Day was won by on a count-back by Terry O’Connor from Barry Cook, both players with 28 points.
