Junior tournament at Terang

PERFECT playing conditions greeted competitors in the WDGA junior tournament at the Terang Golf Club last Sunday.

The course was in a great condition and organisers thank the club for again hosting the event.

In the boys 0-19 handicap, Max Kavanagh won the event with 82-14-68 nett, followed by Leo Beasley on 88-13-75 nett.

Nearest the pin was Max Kavanagh.

In the boys’ 20 plus handicap, Hugh Kenna won on 102-29-743 nett followed by Paddy Scanlon 112-26-86 nett.

Paddy also won nearest the pin.

The final junior tournament for this year will be played at the Camperdown Golf Club this Sunday, November 24.

Registrations will be taken from 10am with hit-off at 10.30am.

The two major trophies (overall boys and girls winners) will be presented at the end of play.
