The under 18 side faced the Strikers and while the final score was a 4-nil win to the Strikers, this didn’t reflect how well Corangamite played.

The team applied great pressure in attack, with numerous attempts at the goal, while the defence also worked hard.

The You Rock award was presented to Tavish who is always happy to play where needed and is a supportive, cheerful team member who shows great commitment.

In the under 15 competition, the Lakers secured a well-earned win over the Mariners.

The team played with confidence and cohesion, showing just how far they’ve come this season.

Every player trusted their team-mates, stuck to their roles and held their positions well throughout the game.

This was a great team effort from start to finish.

The You Rock award went to Taleah for scoring several goals and being a consistent, stand-out player.

The Lakers’ under 12 team played an incredible game, with all players giving their absolute best on the pitch.

The team work and use of the rebound boards is getting stronger every week.

The Lakers scored five goals as the result of great passes across the field, which then snuck passed the keeper.

The You Rock awards for the first three rounds went to Oliver Eagle (for strong skills in offence), Will Bernaldo (who stepped up as keeper and did a great job) and Charlie Fryers (who was fantastic in defence).

The Craters played a fantastic game against Technique last week, showing great energy and teamwork.

With five goals scored, this was an exciting match which continued to show the team is growing each week.

The club welcomed Jean who played her first Hockey 5s game and well done to Will P who stepped up and gave goal keeping a try.
