Kavanagh continues good form
FORTY-seven golfers headed to the Terang course last Saturday for a stableford competition.

A grade was won by Anthony Kavanagh (9) 40 points followed by Michael Sargeant (12) 35.
Paddy O’Connor (16) 41 won B grade, followed by Ged Justin (21) 37 on countback.
Balls down the line: Peter Hrabar (22) 37, Gary Huebner (20) 37, Paddy Scanlon (15) 36, Shaun Maxfield (23) 36 and Terry Beasley (26) 35.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Neale Grundy, 6th Anthony Kavanagh, 8th Paddy Scanlon and 11th Neale Grundy.
Nick Kenna had an eagle on the par four, first hole.
The Friday twilight nine hole competition was won by Fred Beasley on 20 points, with Shaun Maxfield the runner-up on 19 on countback.
Nearest the pin on the 11th was Gerard Meade.
Sunday’s 18-hole stableford was won by Max Kavanagh (11) 36 on countback from Anthony Kavanagh (9) 36.
Players will contest a nine hole twilight on Friday from 2.30pm (composite holes 1, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18, 10, 11 and 7).
Stableford will be played on both Saturday and Sunday.
