Kerr leads A grade

THREE rounds have been played in the Camperdown Golf Club Championships, with the final round played last Saturday, November 30.

The men’s competition has seen players grouped into three grades, with strong numbers entered over the first three rounds.

In A grade six-time champion Jack Kerr is leading on 210 shots (72-70-68) from David Alsolom 220 (72-77-71).

In third place is Darren Fox 227 (73-77-77) followed by Tom Moran 228 (77-79-72).

These four players will be the final group on Saturday afternoon.

In B grade only 10 shots separates the top six players, with Dale Evans leading on 258 shots from Issac Stephens, Charlie Lucas, Lenny Stephens, Peter Gubbins and Col Keane.

The C grade competition is using the stableford scoring system and this has ensured a close contest.

Two points separate the top four players, with Jeremy Baker leading on 87 from Simon Gill (86), Jeff Collins (85) and Albie Cheeseman (85).
