Kerr wins seventh championship title
TALENTED golfer Jack Kerr has won his seventh consecutive A grade championship title at the Camperdown Golf Club.
Despite the wet weather that greeted golfers for the final day of the club championships, some good results were recorded.
In the men’s competition, Jack Kerr won the A grade for the seventh time with an aggregate of 281 (72, 70, 68, 71).
Kerr also took out the Talindert Cup with the best scratch score over four rounds, finishing on 68.
The runner-up in the A grade championship was Darren Fox on 304 (73, 77, 77, 77).
B grade was won by Isaac Stephens with 343 (86, 84, 89, 83) followed by runner-up Dale Evans on 348 (84, 88, 86, 90).
The C grade champion was Jeremy Baker with stableford rounds of 25, 30, 32, 27 with a total of 114.
The runner-up was Dale Evans on 109 (34, 28, 24, 23).
The Jack Hay Cup with the best nett score over four rounds was Darren Fox with 288.
In the women’s competition, Ros Brauer (87, 90, 86) finished with an aggregate of 262 to take the A grade title.
Tracey Baker (85, 95, 86) aggregate of 266 was the runner-up.
In B grade, Gabby Gill (96, 100, 101) aggregate of 297 was the champion, followed by Ruth Skene (102, 105, 111) aggregate 318.
The Dot Hill trophy for the best scratch score was Jess Moulden with 84.
The Margaret Petty trophy for the best three nett scores was won by Jess Moulden with an aggregate of 218 (66, 79, 73).
