Key route rebuilding
REGIONAL Roads Victoria has launched a complete overhaul of high-use intersections along Terang-Mortlake Road east of Mortlake.

REGIONAL Roads Victoria has launched a complete overhaul of high-use intersections along Terang-Mortlake Road east of Mortlake.
Repair works have been slated for the Purcells Lane, Mortlake-Framlingham Road, Hood Avenue and Jamieson Avenue intersections.
Asphalt removal and resealing works began at the Purcells Lane intersection last Thursday and concluded on Wednesday, September 18 (yesterday).
Regional Roads Victoria acting south west regional director Emma Miller-Olsen said all works have been slated for completion before Friday, October 4, depending on weather conditions.
“We’re improving the road surface at four intersections along Terang-Mortlake Road, delivering a safer, smoother journey for more than 1000 drivers each day,” she said.
“These works will involve removing the existing layer of asphalt and replacing it with new asphalt, creating a more durable, reliable road surface.”
Road users are advised to adhere to the altered speed limits when travelling through the construction sites.
