Knights celebrate
COBDEN is celebrating back-to-back premiership wins in the South West Cricket division one competition.

After finishing the home and away season in fourth on the league ladder, the Knights defeated top side Bookaar in the semi-final round to book themselves a spot in last Saturday’s grand final.
Their fine form continued on Saturday, defeating the second-placed Pomborneit in a thriller at the Camperdown Lakes ground.
Pomborneit won the toss and elected to bat, reaching 10/125 in the 47th over.
The Knights showed consistency with the ball, with Angus Uwland the best of the bowlers, finishing the day with figures of 3/23 from 10.
He was well supported by Matthew Harkin 2/19 and Parker Walsh 2/23.
Other wickets fell for Paul Pekin 1/20 and Simon Murfett 1/35.
In reply, the Knights reached 7/126 after 42 overs.
Angus Uwland put in a solid performance with the bat, finishing unbeaten on 58 from 69 deliveries in an innings that included an impressive 10 boundaries – including four consecutive boundaries to bring home the premiership flag.
His efforts with both bat and ball also earned Uwland the Player of the Match award.
Others to reach double figures for the Knights were Edmund Walsh (22) and opener Matthew Boyle (11).
