DESPITE a handy kn-ock of 63 from batsman Jye McLaughlin, Camp-erdown’s division one cricketers failed to take the win from Bookaar last weekend.
The Lakers, sent in to bat first, finished their innings on 10/138 after 34.5 overs.
Best of the bowlers for Bookaar were captain Tim Fitzgerald with 4-11 off 7.5 overs and Myles Sinnott 3-55 off nine.
Fraser Lucas also chipped in with 1-16 off seven.
Along with Jye McLaughlin, others to reach double figures for Camperdown included James O’Neil with a handy unbeaten 20, Harry Sumner (16) and opener Steven Fisher with 15.
In return, Bookaar surpassed 139 with the loss of just four wickets in 30.3 overs.
Openers Eddie Lucas (42) and Simon Baker (14) were handy contributors, alongside Sam Allen who was bowled on 38 and Fraser Lucas (15).
Wilba Cheeseman, not out on four, also had a good day at the crease.
Best of the Camperdown bowlers were James O’Neil 2-5 off two overs and Shane Wilson 1-21 off four.
Other division one round two winners were Cobden, Heytesbury Princetown and Boorcan.
