CAMPERDOWN is hunting a new leader for the upcoming South West Cricket season following Steven Fisher’s decision to relinquish the role.

Fisher confirmed he has stood down after three years at the helm of the Lakers, with his last game as skipper being the 2019/20 grand final loss against his old side, Pomborneit.

The all-rounder guided the Lakes Complex-based club up the division one ladder during his three year stint after he joined the Lakers from the Bulls before the 2017/18 season.

His arrival coincided with Camperdown’s return to the top grade, with the Lakers having spent 2016/17 in division two.
