Lakes and Craters Band members recognised
THE Camperdown Lakes and Craters Band recently held their annual awards ceremony, acknowledging the work of band members throughout the year.
Congratulations: Camperdown’s Lakes and Craters Band recently acknowledged the efforts of (from the left) Peter Heath, Marion Dunn, Tessa Tucker, Nancy Leonard-Pekin and Lucy Molan.
Band publicity officer Barb Tucker said the band was “quite happy” to recognise the efforts and dedication of its members.
“The winners were absolutely blown away by this,” she said.
“None of them knew about it, so they were quite chuffed about it.
“We need them to be recognised.”
Award winners included:
Peter Heath, who won the Senior Attendance Award;
Marion Dunn, who was awarded Most Improved Senior Player;
Tessa Tucker, who received The Alexander Trophy for Band Person of the Year;
Nancy Leonard-Pekin, who was awarded Most Improved Junior Player; and
Lucy Molan, who took out the Junior Attendance Award.
