SHOPPERS made the most of extended trading hours in Cobden last week.

Eight businesses kept their doors open between 5pm and 8pm last Thursday to give locals a chance to enjoy some late night shopping.

Participating stores in this year’s Christmas Extravaganza late night shopping event were:
• Cobden Pharmacy;
• Cobden Sewing Machines;
• The Blue Wren Cottage;
• Cobden Information Centre;
• Desire Body and Beauty;
• Reicha’s Drapery;
• Kin and Folk Cobden; and
• Alderwood Speakers.

Cobden Pharmacy and event spokesperson Fiona Gee said she was pleased with how the Christmas Extravaganza event went.

“It seemed to go really well,” she said.

“It was lovely to see lots of people up the street.

“It was a beautiful night.”
