Leading the way for 2025

WITH students settling in for the first term of the new school year, schools across the district have announced their student leaders for 2025.

Camperdown College’s senior campus has announced its student leadership team, consisting of Stella Horspole, Jada Mahony, Shelby Cameron, Georgie Oborne, Rory Harrison, Lily Van Es, Georgia Somerville, Taj Cunningham, Rebecca Johnson, Lily Maskell, Chloe Cameron and Finn Tolland.

Meanwhile, the junior campus has welcomed Bentley Currell and Zoe Unwin in to their new roles as school captains for 2025.

Mercy Regional College (MRC) announced their student leadership team towards the end of last year, naming Nellie Sadler, Rose Beasley, Riley Hanks, Lucy Molan, Sarah Menzel, Jess Miller, Brodie Hanks, Isla Fleming and Finn Darcy as the leaders of 2025.

MRC principal Sharon Gillett wished the new leadership team all the best for the year ahead.

“Once again we have an outstanding group of young people in our senior leadership roles and I congratulate them all,” she said

“I look forward to seeing their leadership skills grow over the coming year as they work together as a team to provide an example of our school values to our students and community”

St Patrick’s Primary School students Alice Dennis, Cess Evans, Essi Myers and Liam Pascoe were named as the student leaders for 2025, marking their first weeks in their role this year.

At Derrinallum P-12 College, students Lexie Henderson and Lorelai Henderson have been named the junior and senior school captains respectively.

Lismore Primary School announced their student leaders for 2025 last week, with Chloe Hair, Ivy Moyle, Oliver Rumler, Noah Dudman, Kit McLean, Angus Moyle and Ashley Halloran filling the roles.
