Lee family dominates again
IN what was described as an incredible night of racing, community and connection, last Friday’s Terang Cup Night has been hailed a huge success.

Ecklin South mother and son duo Marg and Paddy Lee had twice the reason to celebrate, winning both feature races on the night’s program.
The race six, Terang Coop Pacing Cup, saw the mother-son duo take the win with Jilliby Nitro, driven by Lochie Cook.
And in race seven, the Matthews Petroleum Terang Trotters Cup, the Lee’s saluted with Jilliby Ballerini, driven by Glen Craven.
Also a highlight on the night’s program was the running of a celebrity sulky race - won by Member for Wannon Dan Tehan, accompanied by driver Kerryn Manning.
“Crowd numbers were strong, although slightly down on last year due to the cold snap,” Terang Harness Racing Club president Chris O’Connor said.
“Upstairs was booked out well before the event and the canteen and Silks room was well up on last year.
“A highlight was Jilliby Nitro’s unexpected Cup win at double figure odds, driven by popular local reinsman Lochie Cook. Overall the club was very happy with the outcome and feedback has been very encouraging.”
