THIRTY players contested a left versus right handers stableford event at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

A grade was won by G. Birnie on 41 points from C. Horan on 37.

B grade went to N. Simmonds on 41 from D. Jopling on 38.

Balls down the line: G. Rix, Lach Green, M. Noy, S. Dawson, U. Twynstra, W. Gibson, C. Sargeant and B. Cook.

Five left handers, with an average of 34.0, defeated 25 right handers who averaged 31.84.

Nearest the pin: 4th M. Loving, 7thLach Green, 10th N. Kemp.

Closest second on the second (handicap 16-36) will jackpot again while the closest on the 14th (handicap 0-15) went to D. Stewart.

This weekend will be pairs multiplication stableford.
