Lenny Dobbins on target
CLAY target shooter Lenny Dobbins has returned home from the state trap carnival with a C grade title.
Lenny Dobbins is a state clay target shooting champion.
The year nine Cobden Technical School student was among a quality field of entrants in the Victorian Clay Target Association’s state trap carnival, held in Echuca earlier this month.
Dobbins had a successful weekend, winning the Victorian title in C grade for double barrell with a score of 47/50 which saw him tied with two other competitors.
This resulted in a ‘shoot off’ which saw him win the event with a 15/15 score.
Dobbins was also placed fourth overall in the state handicap championships with a near perfect 49/50.
