A harder mark from the handicapper did not stop Lewie West from taking out another win this week.
The young rider comfortably won the 18th Harold Lamb Memorial in what was just his second competitive race last Thursday.
Darcy Abbott, riding off scratch, came second when he almost equaled his personal best with the field’s fastest times of 8.23.
Oliver Clark continued to show his strength as a cyclist, coming home in third place.
