CARAMUT Football Netball Club stalwart Debby McGeachin-Woff has received a life membership from the Mininera and District Netball Association.
Debby, who is believed to have played more than 300 games for the Swans, was presented with the award at the league’s annual vote count and presentation evening in Lismore last Monday week.
“I was completely surprised but feel very honoured,” Debby said.
A life member of Caramut Football Netball Club, Debby has held many positions with the Swans including player, coach, league delegate, scorer, committee member and umpire.
“Debby really has been the heart and soul of our club and continues to ensure it runs smoothly,” club member Nicole Walker said.
“She has also been involved in our league squad teams as a manager and scorer on many occasions and has helped out on our try-out days to ensure they run smoothly.”
At league level, Debby has been a recorder on the executive committee and will also fill this position in season 2023.
