Life membership for Ron Mills
BOWLING enthusiast Ron Mills has been presented with a life membership to the Terang Bowls Club.

Ron received his award at the club’s recent presentation day in recognition of more than 20 years’ service.
He has taken on many roles within the club over the years and is always happy to lend a hand or offer advice.
The Milroy Trophy for the men’s pairs was presented to Jamie Heffernan and Norm Wynd.
Runners-up were Ken Densley and Pat Reid.
The ladies’ pairs winners were Ros Ross and Jill Fraser, defeating Dianne Meade and Judy Waters in the final.
Pat Reid won his second trophy for the day, partnering with Jo Whitehead to win over Dan Morrison and Judy Walters in the mixed pairs.
The Allan Kid Memorial trophy was award to men’s B grade champion and first year player Aaron Tebble who defeated Tony Malady in a close final.
The ladies’ B grade winner was Maureen Kenna while Dawn Hilton was the runner-up.
The men’s A grade champion was Pat Reid, defeating another new member, Mark Moulden.
Rachel Wass won her second A grade championship, beating Jenny Fowler in a long, hard fought game.
The David Forrest Memorial Award was presented to Aaron Tebble and Filumena Cameron, two young members who help around the club in many ways.
Club appreciation award were presented to Noel Uebergang and Eric Hansford while the match committee award went to Greg Wynd.
