Lions to compete in Ballarat
THE Corangamite Lions Football Club will move to the Ballarat and District Soccer Association for season 2025.
After careful consideration, the club has decided to make the move for the upcoming season as a reflection of its commitment to growth for its players and club as a whole.
It was felt that the Ballarat and District Soccer Association would not only challenge the Lions’ players but be instrumental in their growth and provide an invaluable experience both on and off the pitch.
Club president Jamie Norton expressed his thanks to the Lions committee for its dedication and support – which has brought the club to this “exciting juncture.”
“Also thanks to the South West Victoria Football Association for 15 years of brilliant football,” Mr Norton said.
“We look forward to a jam-packed 2025.”
