CORANGAMITE Lions Football Club’s senior division one side continued its winning streak over the weekend.
CORANGAMITE Lions Football Club’s senior division one side continued its winning streak over the weekend.
Club president Jamie Norton said the team beat Port Fairy 5-3.
He said goal scorers for the senior division one side were Lachlan Rosolin who scored three goals and Jamie Norton and Rob Michel with one each respectively.
Other results for the club over the weekend were:
Division two – defeated 6-4. Goals were Chol Ajak who booted two, and Josh Morris and Kaiden Hayward one each;
Women’s – defeated 2-1 against Port Fairy. Katlin McIntosh was the goal scorer for the women’s team.
Under 17 played Portland and lost 8-1. Flynn Blasche scored a goal; and
Under 14 played Port Fairy and lost 4-1. Aiden Vallejo was the goal scorer.
The division one side goes into a home game this Sunday against the Warrnambool Wolves unbeaten.
Kick off is at 3pm for the division one team at the Scotts Creek Reserve.
