Lismore school bus stolen
WARRNAMBOOL Police are appealing for information following the theft of the Lismore Primary School bus last weekend.
Senior Constable Rachel Gissening said the bus was taken from the school by an unknown offender between January 18 and January 20.
“Police also had a call in the early hours on January 20, at around 7.15am,” she said.
“A member of the public called Triple Zero to report a suspicious vehicle loitering in the area of Tambo Avenue and Delaware Street, Reservoir matching the description of the bus.
“The bus has also been involved in a petrol drive-off which had occurred at the Reddy Express Broadway in Reservoir.”
Snr Const Gissening encouraged anyone with CCTV footage or information to contact the Warrnambool Criminal Investigation Unit on 5560 1333.
