Local scratches big win
CAMPERDOWN Newsagency have been celebrating the success of a lucky resident who took home a $150,000 win from a scratchie recently.
Lucky day: Camperdown Newsagency staff member Susan Boyd, owner Paul Hewitt and staff member Erin Hassett have been shocked to sell one resident a big win recently.
The newsagency announced the big win last week, with the lucky customer buying a crossword scratchie ticket in store.
For owner Paul Hewitt, it was the first big win he’s seen since he took over from Shane and Noela McCann two months ago.
“I’m very excited,” he said.
“It’s good to see someone get a large win.
“It’s all about the customer.
“I’m glad to see a local get a large win.
“Hopefully the win is life-changing for the lucky winner.”
