A total of 32.4mm of rain was recorded in Terang for the month, falling short of the long-term average of 63mm.
The highest daily rainfall occurred on the final day of the month, with 12.6mm hitting the ground on Saturday, April 30.
The figure marks a decrease on the previous year, with 56.2mm falling in April 2021.
Meanwhile in Mortlake, 24mm of rain hit the ground in April.
The figure falls below the long-term average of 43.2mm.
Consistent with Terang, the highest daily rainfall recorded in Mortlake occurred on Saturday, April 30; with 8.8mm hitting the ground.
The figure marks a decrease for the same time the previous year, with 36.4mm hitting the ground in April 2021.
