Magpies do club proud
CAMPERDOWN’S 17 and under netballers put in a solid effort against Koroit in last weekend’s grand final.
The Magpies, spurred on by a large crowd at Warrnambool’s Reid Oval, fought hard but were defeated in the Hampden League final, 37-55.
The team had a great 2024 season, finishing second on the ladder at the end of the home and away rounds.
Their journey through the finals series was a competitive one, defeating South Warrnambool 31-27 in the qualifying round, losing to Koroit 42-56 in the semi-final before defeating South Warrnambool again in the preliminary final, 33-26.
