Magpies’ nominees for HFNL campaign revealed
A MASKELL Medallist, league hall of fame member, two former coaches and two netball league best and fairests headline Camperdown’s nominees for the Hampden Football Netball League’s (HFNL) football and netball teams of the 21st century.

A MASKELLMedallist, league hall of fame member, two former coaches and two netball league best and fairests headline Camperdown’s nominees for the Hampden Football Netball League’s (HFNL) football and netball teams of the 21st century.
The final selection process of the teams is now underway with the HFNL formulating two selection panels to choose each side, with the public also able to select their own teams.
One hundred footballers and 50 netballers have been selected to make the final squads.
Among the Camperdown representatives are premiership players Brian Hinkley, Wayne Loader, James Gellie, Troy Stephens, Aaron Sinnott, Matt Sinnott and Stephen Sinnott, Maskell Medallist Sam
Chapman and interleague representatives Luke Mahony and Cameron Spence.
The netball representatives include league best and fairests Tracey Baker and Jaymie Finch, life members Leah Sinnott and Emma Wright and former coach Rachel Rodger.
The final football team will be selected by Hampden’s interleague coaching panel of the last three years which includes Jonathon Brown, Leigh McCluskey, Adam Dowie and Aaron Sinnott.
The netball side will be chosen by Pam Davis, Dot Jenkins, Marie Wall, Gaye Batt and Trish Butters.
HFNL executive member Troy Logan encouraged all members of the public to submit their team before 5pm on June 21.
