Mahoney wins A grade
BRODY Mahoney finished the day on 41 points to win the A grade stableford at Timboon Golf Club last Saturday.
Mahoney was followed by Tori Ziegelaar with 39 points, with Gary Castledine third on 37.
B grade was won by Franny Togni from Bryan Ward, with 35 points, and Darryl Neal 34.
The ladies’ winner was Karon McKenzie with 37 points, while Judy Walsh was second on 36 and Debbie Norton third on 34.
Nearest the pins: 5th Barry Cook and Jamie Norton, 10th and 14th Judy Walsh.
Chris Huffadine won a ball for his second shot to the 11th and Darryl Neal won a ball for his second to the 13th.
Thursday’s 12-hole Kazza’s Railway View chicken day was won on a countback by Tori Ziegelaar from Peter Plozza, both on 29 points.
This Saturday will be a stroke monthly medal.
Last Wednesday’s gentsomes pairs was won by June and Carol Ayres on 83 points, followed by Nelle Cashmore and Heather Finlayson on 77.
Balls down the line went to Andrea Thompson and Judith Wallace on 73 points.
Equal third was Karon McKenzie and Susanne Wallace on 73 points.
