TUSK -The Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show will make sure there is ‘Big Love’ for the TRACKS festival in Timboon this month.
It’s been 50 years since iconic singer Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac and the tribute show gives the audience a peek into what made Fleetwood Mac one of the greatest bands of all time.
The festival will also feature performances by Not Yet Dead Band, Louie & the Melways and the Bluestone River Band.
Corangamite Shire Council South West Ward councillor Kate Makin invited residents from across the shire and beyond to head along and enjoy the council-sponsored free event.
“For the first time this year the show event will start with performances by young local artists on the FReeZA stage from 1pm to 2pm,” she said.
“Come along and support some of our up-and-coming talent.
“It will be an opportunity to catch up with friends for great company and some fantastic entertainment.”
Cr Makin said food and drinks would be available.
“Twistto Potatoes will be there and Timboon Action will also provide food and drinks,” she said.
“For the grown-ups, Timboon Railway Shed Distillery, Sow & Piglets Brewery and Keayang Maar Vineyard will be at the festival selling their locally made products.”
TRACKS will run from 1pm to 6.30pm at the Railway precinct in Timboon on Saturday, March 18.
For those who want to use public transport, a bus will leave Camperdown station at 12.48pm and Cobden post office at 1.08pm, arriving at Timboon at 1.40pm.
A return service leaves Timboon at 5.14pm and heads back to Cobden by 5.50pm and Camperdown at 6.10pm.
