Maree wins stableford

WEDNESDAY’S stableford competition at the Camperdown Golf Club was the final round of the Noelene Sadler series which ran over Summer.

Maree Finlay (29) won the day with 35 points and Marg White (19) was runner-up on 34 points.

Jake Bateman (16) won the nine hole competition with 20 points on the bottom course.

Nearest the pins: 2nd and 9th Marg White, 15th Jenny Hillman, 16th (second shot) Jake Bateman, 17th Donna Conheady.

Balls down the line: Robyn Couch, Doreen Horan, Jake Bateman and David Absolom.

Next week is a novelty par three event, 9am for a 9.30am start.

Beginners and guests are welcome. Members please bring a small plate to share for lunch.
