Mark notches 200 games
POMBORNEIT’S Mark McInnes has celebrated his 200th senior game for the Bulls.

POMBORNEIT’S Mark McInnes has celebrated his 200th senior game for the Bulls.
Joining the club in the 2007/08 season after a long break from cricket after starting his career in the juniors at Camperdown, as well as playing at the Ex-Students Cricket Club, McInnes has been a loyal servant, rarely missing a game and giving his all every time he takes to the field.
Club secretary Luke Reynolds described McInnes as someone who “always gives 100 per cent.”
“He (Mark) is always there for the club and is totally reliable,” Reynolds said.
“Alongside his efforts in senior cricket, he was a magnificent help with our under 13 and under 16 boys teams while his son Robbie was playing, and was there to get his hands dirty when we dug up the ground to install the pop up sprinklers.
“It's fantastic to see him having a good year with the bat in division three and awesome to regularly see him feeding balls into the bowling machine on a Tuesday and Thursday night for others while also working on his own game.”
“We hope Mark has many more games in maroon and gold.”
McInnes has played alongside his brothers Donnie and Troy at Pomborneit as well as his son Robbie, and has represented the Pomborneit club in two division three grand finals.
The club honoured Mark's milestone with a function, some speeches and dinner at Pomborneit last Saturday night.
