Maureen Bond shows form

MAUREEN Bond had the winning score of 32 points to take out the stableford event at Terang Golf Club last Thursday.


An excellent winter’s day saw 24 players compete in Thursday’s competition, with nine playing in the 9.30am stableford event.

Bond won with a score of 32 on countback from Margie Driscoll, also on 32 points.

Balls down the line went to Heather Holmes with 31 points.

Nearest the pins: 3rd and 6th Jo Arundell, and 18th from off the green, Maureen Bond.

Fifteen players competed in the all-day competition, with Terry Coolahan finishing on top with a score of 34 points on countback from David Stewart on 34.

Balls down the line went to Ethan Wyss 32 points, Colin Venn 32 on a countback from Phil Beasley, Jason Harney and Luke Trebble.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Caleb Kavanagh, 8th Phil Beasley and 11th Terry Coolahan.

Please note the new starting times for the women’s morning event – tee off times will be from 9.30am to 10.30am.

The all-day competition entries remain the same.
