Medals for Saunders and Finlayson

TIMBOON Golf Club members contested a stroke round for the monthly medals last Saturday.

The A grade monthly medal winner was Ben Saunders with nett 71, from Geoff Norton and Hamish Huffadine both on73.

B grade was won by Ben Finlayson with nett 78, from Gavin Rundle on 80 and Gordon Broderick 82.

Nearest the pins: 5th Geoff Norton, 7th Neil Gowland, 10th Ben Saunders, 14th Wes Hollick.

Bill Finlayson also won a ball for his second shot to the 11th and Ben Finalyston won a ball for his second shot to the 13th.

Thursday’s 12-hole chicken day was won by Bill Finlayson with 22 points from Bryan Ward on 20.

Nearest the pin was Steve Plozza.

This Saturday, July 5, will be a three-person ambrose.
