Milestone for cricketers
CAMPERDOWN cricketers Shane Wilson and Jye McLaughlin have celebrated special milestones this season.
The pair, who have been involved with the Camperdown club for more than 20 years, continue to make their mark in South West Cricket Association’s division one competition.
Wilson played his 400th game earlier this season and now sits on 410 games to date.
During that time he has scored 4292 runs which includes 15 half centuries (with a highest score of 80).
Wilson has also been handy as a bowler, taking 420 wickets and recording a personal best of 6/18.
Jye McLaughlan has amassed 6808 runs during his time with the club.
This includes five centuries and 38 half-centuries – which includes an unbeaten knock of 109.
McLaughlan has taken 75 wickets and, to date, has best bowling figures of an impressive 7/30.
