TWO Camperdown footballers will celebrate special milestones tomorrow.

Round 10 of Hampden League will see the Magpies take on one of the seasons most improved sides, Terang Mortlake, at Leura Oval.

The day will mark ‘game 100’ for two of Camperdown’s homegrown talents, Daniel Page in the reserves match, and Riley Arnold in the seniors.

After progressing through Camperdown’s Sunday junior program from under 12 level, Arnold made his Saturday debut in 2012 – a season after claiming the club’s best and fairest award in under 14s.

Under coach Robbie Gordon, Arnold played one under 18 game while a member of the Magpies’ under 16s in 2012 and the season later played a further eight games in the under 18s.

In 2014 Jeremy Baker took over the under 18 coaching role and Arnold played 17 matches for the year.

The team finished eighth on the ladder while Arnold took home the Best First Year Player award.

The arrival of Phil Carse to the club in 2015 saw Arnold make his senior debut, with eight performances for the season, while also continuing his strong form with the under 18s.

Arnold played 13 senior games in season 2016 and from then on continued to be an integral member of the senior side.

He took out the club’s best and fairest in 2017, was part of the grand final team of 2018 and played under new coaches Neville Swayn and Jack Williams in 2019.

In 2022 Arnold headed north to further his career and spent a season playing alongside his brother Billy at the Noosa Tigers before turning to the Magpies for season 2023.

Tomorrow’s round 10 match will be game 10 for the year for Arnold, and his 100th for the Magpies.

He joins dad Shane on the club’s 100-game honour roll.

For Page, season 2023 saw him come out of retirement (sparked by injuries which saw him initially hang up his boots last year after 93 reserve games) to help with numbers at the Magpies

Page’s debut for the black and white began in 2012 under coach Stephen Fitzgerald – the year the Magpies took premiership glory over North Warrnambool.

The following season Page played a further 21 games under Crackers but the side lost the grand final to arch rivals, Cobden. Unfortunately, like the previous year, Page missed selection for grand final day.

Alex Place took over the reserves’ coaching role in 2014 and Page played nine games for the year.

The following season he added 13 games and was joint captain with Scott Nixon.

In 2016 Page and his side finished third and reached the preliminary final and the following season he received the coach’s award from Darryl Mayhem.

Season 2019 saw Page break his collar bone after just five appearances and the following year saw Covid halt all rounds.

The Covid break saw Page contemplate retirement in 2021, however, he did help out for one game under coach Tim Fitzgerald.

Injuries began to take their toll in season 2022 and Page retired from football.

The Leura Oval will be a sea of black and white tomorrow as the club honours and celebrates Page and Arnold on what no doubt will be a special day for both.
