Mixed results for Cobden netballers
THE season is over for Cobden’s Open netballers after a three goal loss to Warrnambool in the first semi-final at Camperdown on Sunday.

The Blues led at every change on the way to their 47-44 victory.
Remeny McCann, Sophie Hinkley and Sophie Blain were best for the Bombers in the loss, with Hinkley scoring 20 goals and Jaymie Finch 19.

Cobden v Warrnambool
Cobden’s division one netballers are through to the grand final after a 40-21 win over South Warrnambool in the second semi-final at Portland on Saturday.
Nikki Clover, Jess Bouchier and Grace Taylor were best for the Bombers in the win, with Bouchier scoring a match high 28 goals.
Cobden will play the winner of this week’s preliminary final between South Warrnambool and Port Fairy in the grand final on September 26.

QUALIFYING FINAL
Cobden v South Warrnambool
Cobden’s 13 and under reserves are through to the preliminary final after a 16-14 win over Koroit in their first semi final on Sunday.
Mollie Rochfort, Amelia Katsaros and Sienna Anderson were best for the Bombers in the win, with Katsaros scoring 10 goals.
Cobden will play Camperdown in the preliminary final this Saturday at Hamilton from 9.15am.
